The Bubbles are two Mountains located on Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor Maine. I hiked in the dark around Jordan Pond and set up facing the mountains as the Big Dipper hung over the mountains. As I was shooting the Northern Lights had a small flare up adding some pinkish red hue to the sky. Also an Iridium Flare streaked through the sky just to the right of the Big Dipper. It was a beautiful Maine night under a blanket of stars.
