Location
I traveled to Tukum, Mexico in 2000, with my family. Of course that Chichén Itzá was a spot we should definitely visit, so one day we headed there and spend half a day around. The site is spectacular for many reasons and should be visited with a guide so we can learn about the culture, philosophy, architecture and knowledge of the Mayas. When I look at this pic I can remember being there, watching el Castillo and thinking one day I should be back, at the equinox, so I can see Kukulcan moving down the stairsTime
Not the best time of day for photos. I think it was around lunch time in August. I was lucky those clouds came by ;)Lighting
The clouds helped to filter the strength of the sun that dayEquipment
Not sure as it was a long time ago. Maybe my 35mm Pentax.Inspiration
All the numerical and geographic symbolism of the pyramid. You should read about it!!Editing
I just digitalized my films and of course some processing. But nothing too heavyIn my camera bag
Nowadays I think my iPhone is fundamental. And depending on the subject I use a Nikon or a Fujifilm. When I travel I like to go light so usually take my fujifilm X-t1 with a 16-135 lens.Feedback
