Behind The Lens

Location

I took this in my home studio.

Time

It was in the morning but that is irreverent as it was in a studio.

Lighting

The light was a gridded strip box, high and to her left.

Equipment

I honestly don't remember what camera and light I used for this shot.

Inspiration

I prefer high contrast photos as to me what you can't see is just as important as what you can. It adds mystery.

Editing

All post was done in LR

In my camera bag

I usually carry a body and a couple of lenses, I don't want to waste time worrying about what gear I want to use, in my mind it takes away for making photos.

Feedback

Place your lights, set your exposure and have the model play in the light, release the shutter when what you see in the viewfinder looks right.
