Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken above English Town on the Caribbean island of Antigua. Our guide pointed out the 'alligator' in the foreground so we all took a picture. The quality of the photo had a lot to do with the beautiful colours present everywhere in Caribbean waters combined with the lush Island flora. A sprinkling of sailing ships was the icing on the cake.

Time

This photo was taken about mid-day. Just after noon.

Lighting

The lighting for the type of shot must have been perfect. I took this prior to taking a photography course and finding out that mid day light is harsh! But this worked. I also used a super vivid setting as it accentuated the blues and greens in the photo.
