Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at my home. I had a hanging feeding bowl and the birds loved it

Time

Most of my photographs are taken on weekends. So this was a typical Sunday shoot on feeding time.

Lighting

I was very lucky regarding lighting. Sun was at the perfect spot, approx hal an hour before it sets behind the trees.

Equipment

I used my good old faithfull Canon350d with a 70-300 kit lens. No tripod, no flash.

Inspiration

Because both my wife and I are nature lovers, we spend most of our spare time watching birds or take a drive through our local game farm.

Editing

I don't believe in post processing at all. If my photographs are not good enough as taken so be it. Post processing should not be allowed in photo competitions. Then its not your photography skill anymore but rather your software skills. I am completely against post processing.

In my camera bag

I am very lucky in that sence. As my camera bag is always packed with all nessasary equipment and ready for the shooting session.

Feedback

The only advice I have is that they have to be very parient and shoot rather 100 of the same shot and get the pic you want.
