"Big Boy" (as he became known to photographers in the area)

One of the largest male bears in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park he had ran off a coyote that had ran down a wild hog and camped out along one of most traveled dirt roads in Cades Cove for some 2 weeks. So close to the road, the Park closed off the entire road as he drew crowds daily with some taken undue chances to get in close with their point and shoots or phones.
