This photo was taken in Cardiff. I was riding a tourist bus (hop-on/hop-off) along Lloyd George Ave when I saw from a distance the two tower of St Mary’s Church. I was waiting for a clear view to take this photo because the bus is moving and so many trees around.Time
This was a twilight time when the bus was on its way to the city centre.Lighting
The light is fast disappearing making this scene more dramatic with the foreground trees that emphasized the movement.Equipment
I used Canon 7D camera with Canon 24x70mm lens handheld and when I reached the hotel, changed my lens to Canon 100x400mm and took this shot with my Travis 3 Legged Thing tripod and a trigger switch. I merged the two photographs by photoshop. Thus the image.Inspiration
Some eerie and mysterious movies I saw before made me think that by combining the two photographs I could express what I want to convey to others.Editing
I used photoshop to merge the moon to the landscape image. A bit of adjusting vibrance, highlights, contrast and definition. And oohla!! It’s ready for ViewBug.In my camera bag
For a daily walkabout, my Canon 7D with lenses 24x70mm and 90mm macro would suffice. My iPhone X is of great help as well. ;DFeedback
Keep an eye for details and be alert for the unexpected. Unplanned shots normally produce dramatic results.
