I took this photo in the early morning hours at Acadia Beach on the Northern Oregon Coast. It was a completely spontaneous shot, as I was on my way to my Aunt's house in Washington.Time
I don't remember exactly the time but it was just barely dawn. In fact, I remember looking back to see just how much light was coming from the east. It was there but almost not.Lighting
As stated above, I got super lucky on this one but living on the Oregon Coast provides me with a lot of "lucky" shots.Equipment
I shot this on my Google Pixel 2XL from my hand. No extra lenses, no flash. I did set it on "night".Inspiration
As I was driving that morning, I had to stop. It made me late to my Aunt's house but when I showed her what I'd captured, she forgave me.Editing
I really don't do well with post-processing. If I can't capture exactly the image I want then I usually don't try. I have a friend that's trying to teach me. Maybe some day. Until then, I'll stick with natural beauty. In my camera bag
So funny you should ask. I upgraded my phone recently to the Samsung S20 Ultra. I can't decide if I'm just not happy with the camera or if I just don't know how to use it. So I'm looking at getting a real camera and taking some lessons.Feedback
I find beauty in everything. Open your eyes to the natural beauty of the world.
