In the three large areas between the trees is space and then you can see the river. It washed out so badly I nearly discarded the photo. Adding the bushes solved that problem and also "closed" the area in giving the photo more of a "chapel" feeling. I wanted the person to stand out, so I removed the color. Then I did a step down magnification to further point then out. I believe the strength of the trees and the concrete pad also exemplifies the "chapel" feeling.
