A fantastic image !
The detail, DOF, exposure and color space is dead on.
If I may; I think this image would be dramatically improved if it were composed differently. I find the stray, upright piece of barbed wire to the left distracting. I think, if you were to maintain the same aspect ration and the bird were shifted to the left, this would eliminate the stray wire and create negative space in the right 2/3's of the frame, allowing our eyes to focus on the bird while having a greater sense of the vast landscape.
Either way, it is still a great shot.
