This is called a PTDS or "Persistent Threat Detection System. The U.S. has been using them in Iraq and Afghanistan for a decade. The DOD is now getting rid of them so the re issued them here on the border of Mexico. The cameras on this dirigible are good enough to see a whisker on a rabbit half a mile away behind some grass... at night. That is not an exaggeration. I accessed the feeds in Iraq when I was in the Army, and this one right here is deployed near where I work on a military installation, so I service this site for the Border Patrol picking up any hazardous materials they generate. Yuma, Arizona.
