The snows of early winter did what the fire fighters could do. In 2017 much of Montana was on fire for most of the summer. The fire fighters couldn't stop many of the fires and everyone was hoping for an early winter to put a stop to all fires and their toxic smoke. This is the easter front of the Rocky Mountains of Glacier Park. The forest is just a bunch of gray poles standing in silence as the snows of winter move down from the peaks.
