This is old Dirson, a peasant from Upper Svaneti, a mountaneous region of Georgia. He lived in his home village high in the mountains of the Georgian Caucasus all his life. Dirson died just two months ago, leaving a big family of children and grandchildren. The last thing he did in his life was chopping wood for the winter to keep his family warm, and the wood is still lying in his yard, reminding his family how much he cared and loved them.
