Still-naked Cottonwood trees stand silhouetted against an intensely blue sky along the Rio Grande Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The northern end of the Sandia Mountains is visible on the right side of the image. Tita and I followed what is known as the "Canopy Loop" on a very windy day in early March. (iPhone image)
