Today was our first trip back out for the season. This Humpback Whale breach was completely unexpected. We watched it take a dive and after 6 minutes we expected it to surface for a breath, but instead it surfaced with chin slaps, pectoral fin slapping and a couple breaches. The sea conditions and lighting were perfect.
