Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Barede Hill in Magelang, Central Java.

Time

It was around sunrise at 6. I remembered it was raining before. But glad the weather was getting better as the sun rose.

Lighting

I want to expose the darkness and the brightness with golden light of sun at one picture. Also the layers from the morning mist from the top of Barede Hill. If you know about Borobudur Temple, one of the Seven Wonder, you can see the silhouette on the bottom left of this shot.

Equipment

I like to be simple as I can while traveling. Canon 600D and kit lens helped me to create this picture.

Inspiration

The local guide said that we are able to see the silhouette of Borobudur Temple here. As we know, Borobudur Temple is a vast historical site, however in here I could saw the great world wonders lay in front me.

Editing

I rarely do any post-processing. I like my photos to be natural. However, I did some basic adjustment on contrast, saturation and exposure in this photo.

In my camera bag

I only prepare a spare SD Card and 2 spare batteries for my camera. I think those all are enough for me.

Feedback

Always try to experiment with several angles for different perspectives. Don't forget to look up or look down. :)
