Rare visitor to the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada. While hiking through the deep moss covered forest I saw this Great Grey Owl perched about 30ft high on a bare branch looking at me. To see one of these Owls down in the Valley is quite uncommon but to get photos of them against the rich green moss and ferns is truly a unique photo opportunity
