Behind The Lens

Location

I was at work actually, I was working nights. My favourite part of that shift was always getting to see the sunsets and as soon as this one started to come together I knew I had to grab my camera out of my bag!

Time

This is definitely one of my favourite sunset photos. I took this around 7 or 8 o’clock I believe because we were getting close to closing time.

Lighting

Once I took the first photo of it I found my self zooming in and so I kept zooming a little more and more each shot it was like I couldn’t get close enough while being able to bask it all in.

Equipment

This was taken recently after I got my Nikon D7000 with its 18-300mm lens

Inspiration

I just have a natural love for sunsets and when it’s more than the average sunset I love being able to look at them again.

Editing

I don’t believe I did anything but touch some some light spots around the trees but didn’t do much too it, it definitely didn’t need much help

In my camera bag

I always have my Nikon D7000 with my two lenses, my 18-300mm and my 50mm prime.

Feedback

My advice for any landscape photo is to play around with your zoom, focus points and HDR options.
