Every once in awhile, a Calla will get it's signals crossed and split to form a double flower instead going solo. This time, the other flower couldn't decide whether to remain an actual twin or become part of the green plant itself, more like a floral sheath or a leaf. No chemicals involved, by the way, although our seasons are greatly confusing this year, much warmer than usual this fall and winter, and another draught. With a Cymbidium orchid flower, cranberries, a round burgundy placemat, and a Red Wing green fleck, mid-century serving bowl to further confuse the issue.
