After an early morning walking around Angkor Wat and Bayon, Preah Khan - built in the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII to honor his father - still amazed me by it's ancient look.
The temple located deeper into the jungle, in the northeast of Angkor Thom. We had to walk for 5 minutes to get to the gate. Like the nearby Ta Prohm, Preah Khan has been left largely unrestored, with numerous trees and other vegetation growing among the ruins.
Walking long time under the heat of Cambodia during May make me feel tired and lazy to continue the journey. Coconuts are the real treasure for only $0.75 for one.
