Location
Looking outside in a small travel trailer, a vintage Cardinal. The Cardinal is only about 12 feet long. So I was sitting at the very back on the couch slash bed. Luckily the caffeine kicked in and I took notice of this moment the flower was being celebrated by the sun: look here ! I did.Time
Very early morning.Lighting
The window provided the perfect soft backlight to reveal the architecture of the flower: the parallel veins, the compelling gathers of the bodice of the flower, the presentation of the pollen grains ripe for the carrying away by a lucky bee, and within the anthers, heavy with rich yellow pollen slyly hiding the stigma (Latin for "the spot") which descends into the flower depths where the ovary is hidden. All cleverly evolved by daffodil species over much time. They prevail.Equipment

Through my interest in Botany and "personal agriculture" (container gardens, flowers, bonsai) I tend to look at structure and function in plants. The beguiling wiles of flowers to make seed and spawn amazes me. The seed globe of a Dandelion is one of the wonders of the world in my book. So, looking up over coffee I saw this daffodil enraptured by the evolving sunlight, like Cartier-Bresson's "moment" - for a flower.Editing
This time, it was just perfect. Not always so and isn't Photoshop the best? Where else in life can you go back to fix a mistake 25 times ?In my camera bag
Camera, paper wipes, extra battery, optional lens.Feedback
Backlight by sun through a window + zoom into the petals and 'business' part of the flower to capture it's elegance.
