I love autumn, who doesn't with all those beautiful colours in display and still warm enough to be outdoors! This is my fave spot during autumn, the old horse carriage path preserved that goes to Landon Hall in Cambridge, Ontario.

Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo at a very popular place in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada called the Langdon Hall Country House Hotel & Spa.Time
It was taken at dusk. I love going there at dusk as deer's, foxes, coyotes, fireflies, and all the wildlife come out of hiding to get a peak of them.Lighting
The lighting fell perfectly right when I needed it to show the splendor of this enchanted forest. The sun peaked out of the clouds long enough for me to capture the colourful leaves that usually wouldn't be seen at dusk.Equipment
I used my Nikon 7100, no flash, a tripod and I remember it being a wide angle lens but cannot recall which one as I don't have the lens anymore.Inspiration
Behind the Langdon Hall is the a very old forest that was also served as the old chariot roads leading to Langdon Hall. Walking through that forest you feel like you're walking into anther world, like time travel. Your mind goes to another place and you can almost here horses and chariots running through the old paths and much more. Such a magical place to be, a place I loved going to almost every day at dusk to relax and just be one with the forest.Editing
I barely did any processing as I always photograph to not do to much editing afterwards. If I recall, the only editing I did was to bring out the colours a little bit more vibrant as it was shot in RAW format. In my camera bag
I normally only have my Nikon and 18-55mm lens. I always like that lens even though I do use many other lens that is my preference when I am just out to relax and enjoy a walk in nature.Feedback
Be inspired by nature and it's wonders. Don't be too technical, let your mind see the photo before you take it and work in manual mode so that you get the right exposure and depth you are looking for in your photo. Let yourself be creative and just enjoy the journey.
