I took this photo in the afternoon. I was actually at the lake to do a photo shoot with my daughter and grandson that are the subject of many and this guy showed up and showed out.Lighting
Nothing really special about lighting. It was just a normal day, it wasn't too bright, wasn't too cloudy. It was perfect.Equipment
I was using a Nikon d3200 DSLR camera at the time . Nikon is my favorite I have now upgraded to the d5500.Inspiration
While I was at the lake doing a photo shoot for my daughter and grandson and looked up and saw this bald eagle, I literally lost my breath for a minute. So of course I had to get the shot!Editing
I didn't do a whole lot of post-processing except for using Adobe Lightroom mobile to enhance the colors and clarity just a little.In my camera bag
It's funny because my family says that I have my camera on me before I do anything else. Which is the truth. Because just like this shot you never know what you might miss. So at all times I have my Nikon d5500 with extra batteries and SD cards. If I have a photo shoot planned, I also bring along my tripod, external flash just in case, and props according to what type of photo shoot I'm doing, along with cleaning supplies.Feedback
First of all, don't do like I did the first time and get so excited that I couldn't get the shot. LOL . Stay calm, focus on what you're doing, and let it come natural.
