I created this wildlife photograph of a Black Swan swimming in Lake Morton, Florida on Saturday, February 17, 2018 during an afternoon shoot. Lake Morton is next to the Lakeland Public Library in Lakeland, Florida. This black swan is one of several black swans that I think are resident at the lake. As it was swimming in the lake it scooped up a mouth full of water to help it cool off on an unusually hot day in what passes for winter down here.
