Location
This photo was taken in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. It was 4 hour cross country ski up to Shadow Lake Lodge. The Lodge provided overnight accommodation and meals. The next day was spent exploring the area when I captured this photograph.Time
This was one of my favourite images taken in the morning near Mount Ball. Snow was undisturbed and so pristine. It would have been nice to adventure the area more but had a four cross country ski back that day.Lighting
I think the pristine area and being surrounded by mountains made this image so special.Equipment
As this was a cross country ski trek in and I didn’t want to carry a lot of weight. The camera I had with me was a Panisonic Lumix DMC-LS2. It had 3x optical zoom with only 5.0 mega pixels.Inspiration
Loving the outdoors and capturing all adventures great or small and now with smaller cameras and cell phones I take many photos.Editing
No post-processing other than changing it to Black and White. In my camera bag
Just new at photography. So currently only have two lenses for my Canon Rebel XTi. 55-250mm and Sigma 17-55mm f/2.8.Feedback
