Wonderful colours and end-grain on this timer stack spotted on a recent behind the scenes tour of Shoreham Port. I was particularly drawn to the splashes of ultramarine blue and the way they contrasted against the variation in yellows and browns of the end grain along with the deep shadows of the stack and cracking in the end grain.
