Izunuma lake in northern Miyagi. A fresh water lake known for its rich bird life, especially migrating ducks and geese. Though the weather was unpredictable and snowed a little and was really really cold, i had lots of fun photographing these beautiful birds. The best time is around sunset so if you are traveling around north japan that is one place i recommend.
