Lake Lousie is one of the most visited lakes in Banff. This turquoise lake is fed by the glaciers from the Plain of Six Glaciers and the silt from the glacial waters gives the lake its rich turquoise color. Famous for canoeing, this lake is crowded all day.
To escape the crowds, I decided to get there during sunrise and saw this amazing reflection of the surrounding valley in the lake. Everything looked so peaceful and calm without any distractions. This still water in the lake made me realize how tranquility of mind is important to reflect upon one's own life and thoughts.
