These beach chairs at Lanikai Beach, Hawaii captivated my attention for these reasons: First, the vibrant colors. Second, the inscriptions on the chairs. On the green chair, it showed: "KAPU," which is the Hawaiian word for "KEEP OUT."

Location
This photo was taken at Lanikai Beach, Hawaii while my two daughters from Pasadena, California and I went to this beach. This was my first time to go this beach which is located at the opposite side of where I live, the west side of the island.Time
It was about past noon, but it was windy and overcast that day. So the sun was not hitting the chairs directly, and the chairs were placed close to a tree where there is some shade.Lighting
The lighting was perfect as it was overcast. Besides these chairs were close to a tree so there was some shade.Equipment
I used my Canon Rebel T6 with an 18-200 mm lens F3.5-5.6. There was no need for a tripod since the lens has a built in image stabilizer.Inspiration
I was captivated by the colors and where the chairs were placed by the beach. Although they were placed there, no one would seat on it because there were some inscriptions on the chairs. On the blue chair, it showed: "DO NOT TAKE; LEAVE." On the green chair, it showed: "KAPU." This is a Hawaiian word for "KEEP OUT." Therefore, any honest person in Hawaii who sees this sign, will not take the chair or seat on it.Editing
I did a little post-processing like cropping and brightening the color. In my camera bag
I always pack my Canon EOS Rebel T6 with the 18-200 mm lens. This is my favorite gear as I do not have to change lens when I am shooting landscape. In addition, it has an Image Stabilizer, which prevents blurry photos, and I can zoom it for close up shots.Feedback
At the beach, there are very interesting subjects and objects to take photos of. I suggest when you are at the beach, just walk and look around, and when you find interesting subjects that draw your attention, then capture the image.
