The highest point on Santorini sits the whitewashed village of Oia overlooking the Aegean Sea. Carved into its cliffs are skeletons of Windmills. Their ribs are exposed to the winds and intense sun. Here I found my favourite windmill, naked, reaching out to the vast caldera that nearly swallowed the island.
