These were footpaths on small hills surrounding a place called Avebury, which is a place that has large stones stood up on their sides, similar to Stonehenge. The white that is exposed on the footpaths is chalk; the ground surrounding the area is completely chalk and no dirt. It is a very pretty area, and the beautiful sky provides a beautiful backdrop to take pictures.
