Four years ago today I was on a plane to Vancouver to see a friend and the Sochi Winter Olympics were on. On my plane ride, I met two great elderly people who sat in my row and we watched Team Canada take on America in the curling competition. There was no.sound because they do not make 6 ear earbuds so we watched while making our own commentary comments. I was sad when we had to depart but also glad because on that 2 hour plane ride, I got to experience first hand our country coming together as one (like I Believe, song from 2010 Vancouver Olympics, describes).
