Location
I took this photo on a trip to Paris with my grandpa. He really likes to travel but has never had the chance to do so as much as he would like. We spent a couple of days in the city, where he had never been to, and I tried to capture everything we saw. This particular picture was taken in "Place du Tertre", in Montmartre, a few streets away from the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. The square is famous for its portraitists and painters, who exhibit and paint their works outdoors.
Time
I shot it in the afternoon of a January day. It was cloudy and cold, but the place was still full of people, having lunch or some hot coffee in the terraces, or walking and admiring the painters' pieces.
Lighting
Because the day was cloudy, the
Equipment
This was shot on a Canon EOS 600D, with an 18-55mm f/3.5 lens. No other equipment was involved, apart from a polarizer filter.

Inspiration
It is such a picturesque place that almost everything is inspiring and pushes you to take pictures of it. I just wanted to remember as much as I could from the trip I organized with my grandpa as his Christmas present.
Editing
I did some post-processing to correct the white balance and find a warmer tone. I also adjusted the noise correction and added a little bit of grain to make it look sort of vintage, which is what the whole place looked like to me.
In my camera bag
Although I would like to learn a whole bunch more in the future, I am still a beginner in photography. That is why in my bag I only have my Canon EOS 600D and two lenses: an 18-55mm f/3.5 Canon lens, and a 70-200mm f/2.8 Tamron lens. I also have a polarizer filter for each lens and an ND filter for my 18-55mm. I am hoping to add to my equipment in the upcoming months!
Feedback
As I said, I consider myself to have really beginner's knowledge about photography, so the only advice I feel comfortable with giving is to take your camera everywhere to be ready to capture every little thing that inspires you.
