The photo was taken in Gloucester Bay, Massachusetts.Time
This is one of my favorite images. It was early afternoon when we headed out.Lighting
I was lucky. I was in the right place at the right time. Lighting and wind conditions were perfect.Equipment
This was shot with my smartphone - Samsung Galaxy.Inspiration
I was heading out of the Gloucester Bay on a chartered yacht. My trip wasn't for leisure. My charter was taking me far out in the ocean, to dispose of the remains of my sister. This tall ship had several instructors shouting out words of encouragement to students who were on board. I heard "you got this", "you're doing a great job", and "keep going". I pulled out my camera and snapped a picture. Words of affirmation in such a painful time.Editing
Believe it or not this is a filter free picture. In my camera bag

I have no advice to offer. I'm in the company of talented artists.
