This image was captured in September of 2017 during a 2 month long road trip around the Pacific Northwest. During much of the trip I was accompanied by friends but for a few days in September I explored the Olympic Peninsula solo. When I look at this picture I am brought back to the sounds of the rolling waves, the smell of the ocean, and the feel of the brittle driftwood on my bare feet. This photo was a product of aimless wandering and full immersion in the overwhelming beauty of the surroundings, and for that reason is my favorite from the trip.
