Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken just outside of Marble Colorado on the western slopes. This is where marble was mined for much it the building in the US Capital. The building you see here housed the compressor equipment that provided compressed air to run the pneumatic equipment in the mines.Time
The photo was taken mid day with light clouds.Lighting
I wanted the image to look light and airy but because of the midday glare adjusting was necessary during the processing process. There was heavy shadowing on the building that needed adjustment.Equipment
I used a Nikon DSLR 5200 with a 75x200 lense. The camera was mounted to a tripod.Inspiration
I had seen this location before in my cousins photography and ask her to guide me there during a visit.Editing
The photo was post processed in Lightroom Six.In my camera bag
I always pack my Nikon with a few lenses and filters so that I am ready for most anything.Feedback
Just get out there and try. I have no formal training as photography is a hobby.
