Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo from the window at the top of my stairs

Time

Taken in the early morning when the Ravens were gathering to take turns of the fat balls that I have in my garden to encourage the wild birds. I noticed that this one looked very intense and was about to take off

Lighting

I like the fact that the bird and the background are almost merged but the Ravens feet and steel cable is in focus.

Equipment

I use a Nikon CoolpixB700 bridging camera

Inspiration

I just love watching and taking images of wild birds and Ravens a so intelligent and have such focused expressions

Editing

All I do is use tools on my Aplle Mac to sharpen my images

In my camera bag

No bag just camera around my neck and a Sony cyber-shot point and shoot in my pocket

Feedback

Have your camera ready at all times. When I'm at home the camera is on the landing so that if I see something interseting the the field behind my home I can get a quick shot, because with wildlife sometimes you have no time to wait.
