Victorian beauty

When my husband & I first got out on our own we considered renting this house. That was 20 years ago so it still had some glory, however the moment you walked in you had an overwhelming feeling of something I can't really explain. That was even before the owner started telling us the history. He took us to the basement to show us the huge hole in the wall that lead to a tunnelling system for the underground railroad. As we made our way up to the attic he told stories of soliders staying in the attic. Even though this house was beautiful and full of history I couldn't shake thay odd feeling you got while in the house so needless to say we did not rent it.
