Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at ocean side pier, it’s close to Camp Pendleton.

Time

It was during that beautiful hour after the sun goes down but the light it shines can still be seen.

Lighting

The sun has the best lighting use it as much as possible.

Equipment

I used at Argus trigger handle tripod with my Nikon d5600 and the lens I use is a tamron 16-300mm

Inspiration

I just started tinkering with longer exposures and thought how would this look especially since the sky is beautiful.

Editing

I did some minimal post processing in Lightroom. Less shadow more clarity and more contrast.

In my camera bag

I have my camera, 2 lenses now, extra batteries so I can stay out as long as I want. I have extra SD cards and lens cleaning equipment. And a book to take notes.

Feedback

My advice is sometimes you have to wait don’t be impatient. Take some practice shots and a remote is a great investment.
