This is the first body shot I’ve done. It was a challenge being on my own, with my timer which is only 30 seconds to get in position. I’m sure I’ll get better at it, at least I won’t have that issue when I start with real models haha! Definitely nervous with this one, a big step wth my confidence on many levels...

Location
This was taken in my home, I am just starting out so I do not have a studio yet...someday!Time
It was taken in the afternoon.Lighting
This is all natural lighting. I chose to take it when the sun was filtering through the windows.Equipment
I actually took this with my iPhone 6S. It was my first time experimenting with a timer.Inspiration
I’ve been on a personal journey to find myself this past year. Part of that year has led me to find confidence and be at peace with myself inside and out. In taking this photo, it really tested me to see just how far I’d come. I’m proud that I did it, and it will strengthen my connection to those who struggle relaxing in front of the camera.Editing
I am a big fan of black and white photography and have been since I was young. So the editing I did was to convert it and bit of cropping. In my camera bag
I am starting to shoot with my Nikon D3200 With an 18-55mm lens. I definitely have a lot on my wish list!Feedback
When you are shooting boudoir, take different test shots before deciding on your poses. It can lead your eyes to things you might or might not want in your shot. Cropping is important, lines should be straight. Lastly, emotion should be real and felt so it is communicated through the lens.
