Behind The Lens

Location

I shot this photo at the near beach, where I live. I was just taking pictures from this beautiful boat, not planning of taking a picture with a full moon, in fact I didint even know that there would be a full moon. My plans changed really quickly after I saw that the moon is rising from the horizon. I had to change location really fast, because I was maybe a half a kilometer away from the spot I took this. And the moon rises really quick, so I was in a hurry! :)

Time

If I recall correctly, it was about 22.00. (10pm)

Lighting

Just the ambiet light from the setting sun behind me.

Equipment

I used my work horse Nikon d750, Tamron 150-600mm lens and Sirui-2004 tripod

Inspiration

I love taking pictures from this boat and it was just pure luck there was a rising moon.

Editing

Nothing to speak of. Just basic lightroom editing.

In my camera bag

I shoot a lot of long exposures, so I always have my ND-filters in my bad. I also always have 35mm, 50mm and 85mm lenses.

Feedback

Just know your camera and always shoot manual and RAW.
