Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken in our garden on some grasses near the pond.

Time

It was the 20th January 2017, 10:00 am

Lighting

I used an apperture of 5.6, 1/100 and ISO 400, no flashlight. We had clear blue skies but the grass and the pond were in the shaddow of our house

Equipment

tripod and EF100mm f/2.8 on Canon EOD 5D MK III

Inspiration

It was a very cold and frosty morning and first we tried to freeze hot water. We were quite disenchanted because that was not working, was not cold enough . Next I made some bubble liquid. After a few tries I had a freezing Bubble.

Editing

In the RAW converter I added dephs and brought the lights down, a little dynamic, clarity and saturation plus partial sharpening

In my camera bag

My Camera Cann EOS 5D MK III and different lenses, the 24-105 L and 70-200L are most of the times with me. Tripod only when necessary for landscape or makro

Feedback

Use tripod. Look for a shaddow place and less sun directly shine to your Object. Keep the background dark (I had the dark pond an some snow). then wait for a moment without wind and catch yor bubble.
