One of the most emblematic and touristic places in New Zealand is the Hobbiton set, known for the sagas of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
During a guided tour you can go through the whole set, which is always in constant maintenance, even to cut the grass by hand so that it continues to look as real as possible. Going through it in your visit to New Zealand I think it is almost mandatory and you also get a beer at the end of the tour.
