So funny thing about this photo, it's technically not supposed to exist since the place I work at, Soho House Chicago, does not allow photography from members and employees alike yet here we are. This was shot by a Samsung Note 8 and with some slight editing I did on some app that I can't remember the name of.Time
So the employees were invited to a dinner at the members area and this one in particular was pasta themed which was amazing. This photo was taken in January 22, 2018 at 7:47 P.M.Lighting
Originally the photo showed everything, the lighting came from the candle lit stands placed on our table but personally I'm a fan of dark shadows and foreground complimenting the background highlights.Equipment
Again this was shot with a Samsung Note 8, nothing special but I like to make due with what I got and until I buy my camera the Samsung phone cameras shall suffice.Inspiration
The idea of capturing any moment candidly is what moves me. Then interpreting it is what fascinates me the most, I could've gone any way with this photo and show the people I decided to omit or focus on the candle and glassware more but I enjoyed it better this way.Editing
So the original photo was saved in a RAW format but after editing it on either PicsArt, VSCO, or Snapseed it came out as a PNG file.In my camera bag

I say just go for it, take as many photos of you can of the same thing from different vantage points, edit it in various styles and compare what you see to how you want it to be seen.
