Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on July 10 2017, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Time

This photo was taken in the evening at 20:20 hour.

Lighting

The bridge was well lit during the evening hours, the various of colors of lights gives it the soft tone against the dark skies.

Equipment

The equipments that I used was a canon EOS 6D camera, a lens EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM, on a tripod.

Inspiration

The various colors of lights that highlighted the bridge and the reflections that was created on the surface of the rushing water of the river below.

Editing

Yes, I did. first: I reduce the highlights of the glare of the street light on the bridge, some adjustments on the color tone curve sliders, such as darken the blacks and brighten the whites, shadows up a bit. The clarity two stops, vibrance and saturation sliders up a bit. Exposure by 2 stop plus for the details that are lost in the shadows. Contrast to give it the final dynamic looks. lens correction applied. Items of distraction are cropped out in the foreground. The suspension wires of the bridge are masked and sharpen.

In my camera bag

The equipments I normally have in my bag. Camera body 6D and EOS R, EF adaptor, canon EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM, canon EF 70-200 f/2,8 L IS II USM, canon MACO 100mm EF 2,8 L IS USM, canon, EF 50mm 1,4, flash 430EX II with bouncer, LEE neutral density graduated 0,3-0,6-0,9 with adapter100mm filter, HOYA 6 stop filter, polarization filter and diversity of adaptor rings, extra batteries. A carbon traveler's tripod.

Feedback

Always use a tripod for long exposures or a sturdy underground for this purpose.
