This beautiful color palette was formed deep underground when hydrothermal systems interacted with volcanic rocks to create extremely concentrated mineral deposits. The iron compounds produce the reds, pinks and yellows. Magnese produces the purples and the decomposition of Mica produces the greens, aquas.
