Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Houghton Lake, Michigan.

Time

This was taken at sunset at one of the last evenings spent at my in-laws cottage before they sold it. It was a very bitter sweet moment for me. We all enjoyed the cottage and spending time with family there.

Lighting

Honestly, this is a lucky shot. I did not do anything special it is just God showing off.

Equipment

I used a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT. Nothing special.

Inspiration

I was inspired by the beauty and the sadness I felt that I would not be able to enjoy it as often as we could.

Editing

I did nothing to this photo. It came out of the camera this way.

In my camera bag

I now use a Nikon D3400 and I have just started to fill up my bag with more than just the standard equipment. I recently purchased a monopod. That is the extent of my fancy equipment.

Feedback

Just take lots and lots of photos. You never know when you are going to get lucky!
