I took this at the San Jose SAP Center in San Jose, CA.

Time

This was the early morning Ice Dance practice on January 3, 2018.

Lighting

It's arena lighting and ice. It sucked.

Equipment

Canon 5D Mark II with the 70-200 2.8 L series lens

Inspiration

Having seen the program several times over the course of the competitive skating season, I had hoped I would be able to capture this lift. I managed to get seats that maximized the potential of catching it at least once.

Editing

Fixed the white balance. Sharpening. But I try to do very minimal post.

In my camera bag

100-400mm lens, 50mm prime lens, camera... that's about it.
