Came across this gentleman while walking to a tribal village at Kabini, Mysore, India. I don’t speak the language prevalent in Mysore, so I explained to him that I wanted to take a photograph. I don’t think he understood, but he did stand still. I gave him some money and showed him the photograph on the LCD. He was surprised and delighted. I gave him some money for his troubles, and it was clear he wasn’t expecting it. I wish I could have sent him the photo.
