This is Jameos del Agua in Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain
See all

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on our family holiday to Lanzarote. This specific spot is known as James del Agua

Time

If I remember this was around late morning/noon

Lighting

This being cave and light coming from the top wanted to get reflections in water

Equipment

This was taken using my Nikon D750 with 24-70mm f2.8

Inspiration

The clear water in protected cave giving very good reflection

Editing

Not much post processing apart from lifting some shadows

In my camera bag

Depending on situation but generally on family holidays try to carry just Nikon D750, couple of lens 24-70mm, 35mm and 85mm primes and few extra memory cards as back up.

Feedback

For similar shots the direction of light is key as same spot from other side looks ordinary
